exhaust rattle with CANflap open

I was wondering if anyone else had the exhaust rattle with the CANflap open using the JB4. I searched and have found that others get the rattle when they first start the car but mine rattles all the time during take off from a stop. It is really annoying and I wanted to know if there is a certain fix for this.

I leave it stock because with the fuse pulled mine also rattled and was very annoying, especially in stop and go traffic.

Yes I am sure it is not the waste gates, it only happens when I have the CANflap open. I just put it back to stock like Beemw335 because it is frankly embarrisin to have a 50k ratlle like a beater.

It's a flap literally. Have ANY exhaust shop remove it.

I have the same rattle... Definitely not WG rattle because I just had my turbos replaced. This is when I noticed this new rattle that happens only on medium acceleration. I here it come from the mid section to the rear of the exhaust. Could be flaps but I am unsure. It is so annoying! If it persists, I will look at swapping the whole exhaust out.

I went to BMW regarding it after they changed my turbos, and they refuse to say they can hear it! It is subtle but it is def there!

BMW Turbos Wastegates slightly rattle even after replacement. Have someone do slight acceleration between 1.5/3 RPM and listen to your engine bay on the passenger side. To check if the noise is coming from there. You should hear the turbo starting to Spool then, the slight rattle. After about 3k RPM the rattle should disappear.

The turbos in these cars are a sloppy design. The wastegates will continue to fail I am sure.
