Opinions of this fender roll (pics) - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I just got my fenders rolled and want to make sure it was done right, is there supposed to be any lip (Basically should the small lip touch the inside of the fender). Do any of you guys with agressive wheels trim the inner fender lining, I can see the tire possibly hitting it.

well here are the pics if the inside of the back fender, let me know guys!
there are also pics of the back fender with the fender Liner removed (last pic), you can see the gap where my fingers are....is this supposed to be there??

It looks about right on a e90, a e92 would be least double the thickness of yours. What are your wheel specs?

So he did roll it good (I didn't look at it before it was done), I thought the lip was supposed to touch on the fender oops lol!!

My wheels are 20 X 9 (front) and 20 X 10.5 (rear) on 245/30/20 (front) and 285/25/20 (rear)

Offsets:

Front 35
Rear 42

EDIT: I am lowered on H&R sport springs

Do you think I should trim the inner fender lining? Seems like a tire could rub it easily.

10.5 +42 on 285 no rub. Leave that liner alone, those offset and springs wouldnt be an issue. You didnt even have to roll the fenders with those specs.

I did it just to be sure, are you saying I can go wider on the tire then, I need a lot of traction so a 295 sounds VERY tempting lol!! So the fronts are okay 245/30/20?

yes a 295 would work also and that front is good.

i had my fenders rolled recently.

They look exactly the same. My guy said it was not possible to remove that lip.
