What was the torque figure? Do you have the 177hp or the 184hp engine?

What exhaust do you have on it?

It was 294ftlb on engine is the 177hp

Exhaust wise I had the DPF/CAT back changed. RSR in redhill made the new midsection and then a BCS backbox. All stainless steel and derescricted unlike the OEM one.

Sounds much better now as well.
Finished result before went on the car.

OEM one

After the mid box it actually flattens down reducing in size before opening up again. very odd.

Looks good. DPF was removed, also? I'd like to keep the DPF on the car.
I think i'll do a dyno run myself, just curios what figures it'll return

The DPF is still on the car I have just removed the mid silencer and replaced the rear. THe DPF and CAT are in the engine bay. I totally agree DPF needs to stay hence I did not touch it. The CAT/DPF are in the engine bay and just stick out at the bottom where the exhaust is connected.

Yes, you're right, i did not look carefully enough.
Are you happy with the torque? This thing is addictive, i felt an improvement over stock, but now i'd like more

Btw, is your car auto or manual?

Car is a manual. The way the car is its back to the power of my e46 320D as that was 196bhp from 150 I would prefer more but then who would not.

Hence replacemnet car will be a 328i or 330d

However at same time its made this car fun to drive and was a easier to hold off buying a new car for a while.

It certainly puts a smile on my face each time I put my foot down now

Is it still legal to drive the car without the mid silencer? Does it cause more odour from the diesel engine?

Nice to hear some positive news about the 2 litre diesel instead of the usual "OOOH, the timing chain is an issue"

How big an Insurance penalty is this likely to incur?
