Since advance auto has these plugs and is offering $20 off $50 or more coupon code (ES123) I was able to get 6 NGK PLZFR6A11 plugs for my '08 328i for $54.94 and I can pick them up locally.

Seems to be a better price than I've seen anywhere else for these plugs.

One ODD thing though...I had to use their mobile site (m.advanceautoparts.com) to see the $12.49 each price, on my desktop machine it was coming up $13.49 each, their chat support folks, who I could tell wanted to be helpful, had no clue why this would happen.

As I understood it the PLZFR6A11S and PLZFR6A11 are actually the same plug. Even if what I've found saying they're the same is incorrect, they'll still work fine in our motor as they were originally the plug specified, correct?

Also, it's not clearing old stock, it's just a sitewide coupon code. I happened to use it for a good price on plugs.

My bad, I'm dyslexic, and without the S on the end, it looked like the part number for the prior version.

All good. Just wanted to be sure. I found some info and it all seemed to point to those being the same plug.

I did see the Bosch ones at O'reily online for like 6 bucks, you gotta pay shipping and wait for them though. However, that is still cheaper for an approved plug. I found folks on these forums and a couple others seem to overwhelmingly prefer NGK for some reason though.

Did my plugs with these this morning, noticeable improvement in idle and and overall smoothness.

My original Bosch plugs with 44k on them looked surprisingly dirty for the miles when I pulled them out.
