Question about CPO coverage on steering issues

I have a 335i xdrive sedan. I don't know if all the debris from Hurricane Sandy caused this, but I noticed yesterday my steering felt stiff. It would feel like its about to lock up when taking turns. There's no noise. My mechanic thinks its the U joint(s). Has anyone gotten this issue resolved under certified pre-owned warranty or is this considered wear and tear? Just wanted to get some feedback before scheduling an appointment. Also, which place would you recommend, Centennial or Sudbury? Thanks.

With CPO you have the remainder of the new car warranty. What does the
warranty documentation have to say about steering? What does your CPO
documentation have to say about it?

I have had good experience with Sudbury.

I'm not posting the RTFM icon, though I thought about doing it...

Cpo warranty is a limited warranty unlike the original 50k warranty. The limited warranty is very vague, hence why I asked on this forum. Thanks for your useless post.
