ETS FMIC for 335i/135i

Hi guys,

I'm removing my ETS FMIC this weekend as I'm changing to a larger custom fit intercooler. I bought this in the group buy organised by Juiceduptuning and had it fitted at Darren Woods a few months later. I'm pretty sure I paid over 600 for this so I'm looking for 375 collected. I'm not too keen on posting it due to the risk of it being damaged.

All info here:

http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/E...tercooler.html

I'm selling the silver 5" version with flat black pipe.

How long have you had this fitted to the car and how many miles since it was fitted roughly?

I can't see it on the juicedup site. Is it a discontinued model?

Is posting a definite no no?

It has been fitted for about 8-10 months I think and done about 8k miles since then. Here was the groupbuy thread, I think that Neil sold all the ETS FMICs he imported:

I would prefer collection as it really needs to be packaged properly for it to arrive safely. Saying that I should be getting a more economical car next week and could drop it off for cost of fuel (should be around the same as posting it recorded).

Thanks.

I'm still undecided whether or not to get a FMIC, DP's or meth at the moment. Hmm

No probs bud. In my opinion (I have all of those mods + more) I would be more inclined to FMIC and DPs. I've had issues with my meth at times with poor flow, leaks and other issues not letting it work properly but it does give you the best gains. DPs are the best overall mod IMO as they let the turbos spool up much quicker and put less strain on them by reducing backpressure but you might have issues with anal MOT testers. FMIC gives you more consistency and the car performs better on hotter days when you would normally heatsoak.

That is very, very, very reasonable for what (I think) is the best standard fit Intercooler available. I bought mine second hand for more than this and then fitted it on the drive in literally 30 mins.

Don't hesitate to buy from Idnan either. A trusted seller.

Matt

PS Dan, meth is totally pointless on a car without a strong map, FMIC, downpipes etc. You can't beat either DP's or FMIC really and you'll want to do both in the long run. Think about this DP's + fitting will be 700+ easily, or this FMIC can be fitted by you all in for 375 and you'll feel the difference EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Thanks Matt for the kind words.

As quoted from Enrita, whose opinion I respect really highly:

Easy, why is cobb stage 1+ (fmic) stronger than stage 2 (dps) ?

Garage List
I knew this would go quick and I'm glad it has for my sake and yours. I found it almost impossible to resist going straight in at the asking price yesterday afternoon. But that would have been domestic suicide.
