e92 m styled rear bumper questions

Just got $750 from someone that put a dent and some scratches into my rear bumper. They wanted to do it outside of insurance.

I have the regular rear bumper for the e92 and have always hated it, so am going to throw this toward an aftermarket m tech styled rear bumper.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the different after market brands? The shop I am using is actually a Cadillac dealership whose body shop is considered one of the best in my area. They will not do any 'modding' of body pieces, so the bumper I would need has to have a near perfect fit.

I'm looking to get this done in mid-September as that is when they can first fit me in, so looking to order ASAP.

I just posted a review of jgmods's m-tech bumper and I would say it's near perfect. If you want OEM perfect, then I would order the OEM m-tech bumper from Tischer.. think it's less than 700 shipped with the new hardware

Good review, I just read it. I hadn't even known about that one so adding it to my list.

Didn't realize the OEM part would be around that price. Think I can be all in for around $750 with an aftermarket one with professional paint and install, though.

Anyone else have any suggestions? jgmods does not seem to want to answer their phone, return phone calls, or respond to emails on basic questions.

Not a fan of **********s return policy, so hoping to stay away from them.

Looking for aftermarket mtech rear bumper options for the e92.

Personally I would spend the extra amount to go oem. It's better for resale and guaranteed to fit 100%

Most people would like to buy a car like they would from the dealers, you have to think about the high income low expenditure targets aka 40's plus. Do they want a car that has a sick m3 body with cf wrap or do they want a "normal" car...

Where did he say anything about selling the car?

When it comes time to sell he can always do a trade for stock + cash deal.

The oem is 630 I believe through tischer and the performance diffuser is an extra 200. I would go oem man especially since the reps aren't much cheaper. I actually think the mtech + performance looks better than the m3 rear.

I was specifically replying to JoeC and rmk. I wasn't advising anyone on what style to pick.
I thought when I bought my e93 I'd want to keep it stock for resale, then I tinted the windows, got Luis to do my lights, changed the grill and am now looking at new rims and other mods and complete system upgrade.
At the end of the day it's your car so make it what you wish it was.
