I've got to replace the n/s headlight on my E91, is it straight forward to do?

You will need to take the front bumper off. Search for its DIY.

Headlight is fitted to your car via a bracket. Remove the bracket with headlight and then remove the headlight from the bracket, otherwise it is slightly complicated.
