I posted this in the suspension forum but was advised to post here. I have looked at the compatibility charts and lists but really am interested in what others have done relative to the experiences after making modifications using oem or similar parts.

I had the opportunity to drive a 2012 E92 335is this past weekend and was impressed by the overall handling of the car (legal but spirited driving including some tight on ramps).

I prefer the 6 MT in my 2012 E92 335i Xdrive over the very nice DCT in the "is" but prefer the "is" road feel and wonder what sort of "is" suspension parts, if any, can be added to my car. I looked at the BMW performance suspension on-line but apparently it is not available for my car according to BMWUSA. I do not want to go too far from oem parts, if at all, as I use this as a semi-DD car and for long drives over holiday with my spouse and on varied terrain and weather conditions.

I would be OK with some drop but certainly not radical (I like the lowered look but it is not practical for the roads I generally drive on).

Any advice will be appreciated.

Im not sure if the IS suspension will fit an xi. I have my full stock suspension with less than 500miles on it for sale . I read from the dinan web site that the IS has stiffer shocks is it true? dont know.

Front shocks will not fit Xi models. There is only one Xi OEM/factory suspension, and you have it now. You can swap out rear shocks springs and sway bar bits and front springs with other models but front shocks are Xi-specific.

I wasnt aware that BMW makes AWD available to e93s. Interesting. Car should be heavy as all hell.
