225/35/19 255/35/19 tires on VMR's

I have some new VMR v710s being delivered in 19x8.5et33 and 19x9.5 et35 and need help with tire sizing. I need all seasons. If I use the standard sizing of 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 I really only have two options in name brand tires which are general gmax and continental dws. I keep hearing great things about the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. I also hear that they run larger than sized. I think I read in a few places they are close to 10mm larger than specified size. Could I use 225/35/19 front 255/35/19 rear Pilot Sport A/S 3 on my VMR wheels and be fine? I am thinking since they run large I could downsize and actually be the same size as a 235/265 gmax/dws and still have a stiffer sidewall tire than either of those tires.

Shouldn't have any issues running that setup! Just like you mentioned the AS3s are known to run wide (I believe even wider than PSS).

I believe the OP only wants the Michelin option (not offered in appropriate 235/265 sizing). Actually, IIRC the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 runs wider than advertised.. even wider than Michelin PSS

Not to jack the thread but then the xi equivalent would be what?

Would this work?
225/40/19
265/35/29

I have been running the Mich Pilot Sport a/s3 for about year and half now 225/35/19 and 255/35/19 just for a all season with better wear put my second set on the rears September 1 2014 and probably got about 20,000 miles out of the rears driving hard no rubbing and no traction control issues. does have the rear tucking tire a bit naturally with no drop.
