Day/Night Mode CIC - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi guys,

I coded my CIC last night and added the automatic mode in the map settings where the day and night mode are located. But when I enabled that and set it to automatic the map still doesn't change to night mode when the headlights are on?
Does anyone know what else I need to do here?

The code I made active was:
NAVI_MAPMODE_AUTOMATIC

Automatic mode only works on F series. no luck on E series.

Damn that sucks! Well I guess the workaround is to just program the shortcut keys for day/night mode.

Even when I put the car into night mode only the second/split screen goes to night mode but not the main screen. How do I get both to go to night mode?

That does indeed suck! But thanks for the info!

Wished the nav systems on the E series could be updated to the F series!!!

We need someone to be able to hack our systems and unlock this functionality.

The f series is the same unit. They have auto map due to another module on the car.
