E92 Fender turn signal wire gauge

Does anyone know what gauge wire is used for the Fender turn signal in an E92, in the process of mounting m fender inserts and I've got plugs, but rather than just cut off the exsiting terminal i'd like to just tap the wire with a quick connect.

Found, the wiring diagram which indicates .5 BR (Brown) and .5 BL/GE (Blue, Yellow)

so based on this

.5mm gauge = 24AWG = 24 gauge wire.

so anyone who changes their fenders on e92 m3 fenders and decides to keep both sockets, and needs to buy the fender inserts/side markers

Parts needed are:
Grille, side panel, front, left 1 51138046501
Grille, side panel, front, right 1 51138046502

Rubber grommet 4 12527503411
Socket housing 2 12527507529
Terminal socket for MLK 1,2 0,25-0,5MM˛/SN 4 12527510668

4 Pieces of 24 Gauge Wire
4 Quick Taps for 24 gauge Wire

Just FYI...BMW determines its wire gauge size by the cross sectional area. This means that 0.5mm is NOT the diameter but 0.5 mm2 is the size you need to compare to. I use this reference to know what size to get. I have done a considerable amount of wiring in this car and never recall seeing anything as small as 24 g. The smallest i have seen is 22 g. According to this chart you need 20 g NOT 24 g.
