How much should I expect to pay for a tranny maintenance? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have a '06 325i with 76K. I recently got a quote for tranny maintenance for $620. This includes all replacement fluids, labor, filter kit, etc.... I thought this was a bit high especially coming from a local mom and pop shop.

Does this price sound right to you guys?

if you have the zf trans (if you aren't sure you can use this vin decode page to find out which you have http://www.bmw-z1.com/VIN/VINdecode-e.cgi), you can get a kit from here http://www.thectsc.com for about 240$, then that leaves the labor.
