Came to the N55 Darkside
|
I already have a Dinan free flow black diamond exhaust and it's pretty ballsey, with even a slight bit of drone at certain RPMs, which I am living with, as all other aspects are sex.
Would downpipes put my car over the edge? Anyone running an aftermarket exhaust local in NJ running DPs that can possibly let me hear them? 2011 E92/E93 N55 335 a major plus! ![]() I assume inspection is a bust too (unless I pay one of those "special places" to do it for me) P.S. will the gains be really worthwhile? Besides making possibly an intolerable level of additional sound, do I have anything substantial to gain? And to lose? ![]() I already am running Dinan Stage 3 with the Dinan FF exhaust. |

The 5" one with cast ends looks the best and will be the most reliable but i would not buy a 5". 3.5" is plenty should be good for 800whp which will never happen on stock turbo. So keep it small 3-3.5"

I have the BMS catless downpipe with stock exhaust and live in South Jersey if you want to hear it.
I'm curious to hear what the Dinan exhaust sounds like on the N55 also.
