Car dont start after loseing the minus cabel - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have problems with the key to unlock the car. And somebody told me to lose the minus pole on the battery. So I did and now the car wont start. It cranks but then nothing happends. On the panel the service indication is appearing. Have tried with a help from a another car with cabels, but that dont work either. Help please.

IIRC, the negative cable contains the IBS, so your battery may have to be re-registered. I'd have a dealer or experienced indy mechanic handle it.
