E90 steering wheel cover?

I was searching for a sport steering wheel upgrade for my car and I stumbled upon this on ebay..

http://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-BMW-E90-...a92eb2&vxp=mtr

and

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alcantara-St...ca0013&vxp=mtr

I know this is pretty ghetto but any thoughts? Did anyone here try it out? I may try it just for fun

they look kinda badly fitted and cheap, would you really want that on your car?

as long as it doesnt slide i guess, dont wanna compromise safety when steering, at least you will get some steering wheel protection

Even if those would fit your steering wheel, I'd hold out until you find a good option to do a proper sport steering wheel upgrade, personally. Even if they will fit your current wheel, those don't look too impressive.

Are you looking to eventually go to a sport wheel?

IMO.. I would call a local upholstry shop. I would bet you could have a sueded or new leather on your existing wheel for $100-150 depending on what material you want to use.

These don't look good. A local shop can do a better job than that at covering your wheel with proper leather, stitched.
