You will have to ask the CPO dealer as obviously since you asked the question it does nothing when pushed. I will say that I had aftermarket heated seats placed in a Tahoe a few years back and that rocker is a dead ringer for the one they used...but you also said you had OEM seat heaters.......

If it really was an older couple's car maybe the switch controlled the in-car O2 for his breathing tube.......fun to guess anyway.....

It's not for the cooler inside the armrest because that switch is always inside the armrest. Try following it out.

I have an aftermarket switch similar to that in my car, but it's under my steering column and runs my e-cutouts. I also had a switch that looked identical to that one in my DSM but it was a fuel pump kill switch. In case you needed any ideas on what to use it for now that it's there!

+1...laser jammer on/off switch. The back of the console is one area to draw power for the laser jammer so the previous owner thought it would be a good location.

the Laser Interceptor kill switch has a rounded enclosure and should have a green led when switched on. That one looks like a white marking for the on position?

The Blinder laser jammer switch is more rectangular.

I have serious doubts that gramps had jammers unless he wasn't the original owner.
