Need help, piece came off from underneath car

Well, I was stupid and hit a curb on the right side of the car, then after inspecting it I noticed that this piece came off the right side underbody, and it has an identical piece on the opposite side attached. Anyone know what this is or if this would be a serious problem?
thanks

Yes I'm the first!

It's the jack pad underneath the car. No problems. It's just $20 replacement. It happens and they actually wear out and get worse over usage from jacking up the car at the dealerships or shops. Eventually, they will crumble like that.

Or if you hit a curb hard enough, they can and will fall out. You can drive the car with or without it. No safety issue.

+1 jack pad. No big deal if there is no other damage.

Thanks guys, it seems like a little bit of the flap on the bottom of the car is a little loose now too and can be pulled down a bit instead of being fully attached, tried to take a pic of it but its kinda difficult without it being lifted

That pic would be difficult as I think you may be missing a jack pad....
