CF Fabric Wrap Help... - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have a CF Fabric wrap project that I was doing with a buddy that can't seem to fnish. I have most of it done except for a few difficult pieces.

I was wondering if there was anyone local that could help me with the ashtray cover as it is a very hard piece to get right with the CF fabric wrap.

I'll definitly hook you up with something for the help

sorry buddy - I'd like to help, but I snapped my ashtray cover off when trying to do this, there's a DIY on this that walks you step by step though in the DIY section -

I have the ashtray lid off....getting the trim piece off is the b*tch

Just wrap over the trim piece, change ur blade and outline the trim piece - it'll come out the same if ur careful - that's what most people do.

I don't trust myself with an exacto knife around that trim piece and the CF. The fabric I have is fairly thick.
