335xi coupe sounds like..

When I am driving at low speeds (lower than 35MPH) over road imperfections my xi has developed a rattle at the front-end. Doesn't happen when I turn, just happens when I am driving down any slightly bumpy road.. kinda sounds like the front wheels are loose. I don't feel it in the steering wheel, but it's audible in the cabin. I have an appointment tomorrow to get it checked out, but fear that I will get the "everything's fine" line. Any ideas?

Sounds like the start of a failing ball joint or something like that. Atleast from what you described this is what happened to me in my E46 before I had to replace the control arm/ball joints

Thanks for the reply. Although.... I was hoping you'd say something like "that's totally normal, my car does that too."

Update: As I suspected two indys simply said nothing was wrong with my car. However, this noise can't be normal, and isn't, because it never used to do this.. Furthermore, when I go to shake the wheel with my hands (with the car on the ground) I get major flex from the driver's side front wheel.. don't get any flex from the other wheels.
