n54 JB4 Install

So, I bought a JB3 pinout and a JB4 module. Completed the install from all the helpful n54 threads.

The car starts and idles fine and after a short drive goes into limp mode. The one code I'm getting is 2D20 - something about a pedal malfunction.

Unfortunately the only advice Terry could give me (cuz I bought used products) is to check the pedal wire in the gray subconnector.

Has anyone had this issue and had their wiring correct and had some other problem?

I plan to triple check the wiring in the morning and if everything checks out, I'm lost. So any advice could help.

Thanks!

Just redo the install and make sure everything is correct. After you finish plugging in the 4 JB4 connectors to the 4 OEM connectors and the red wire into slot 2, plug back in your battery and check to see if your JB4 steering wheel controls work. If so you're good to go.

Steering wheel controls work, and the car runs. It kust keeps going into limp mode. Ive used the usb cable and software to read that code.

It has to be the wiring. Did you update/rewire the JB3 wiring so it is now correct for the JB4?
