I think this thread is rediculous.. if you really want to sell your hood you should be more focused and host pictures as soon as you can and stop arguing over pointless things with people you are probably never going to meet right?

As for endearing myself here, uhhh, I'm still looking for reasons. I'd suggest attracting a spouse of your own to dedicate your time to.

Frankly, it's not a major concern--for all the 'tude and such, or whatever hall monitor/crossing guard gene you possess to 'protect' the forum members, I've had more fun watching the inanity grow over all of this. If no one's ever told you, you give good inanity.

As for being scared away, 'caught' for trying to scam people (how did someone know I'm from Nigeria, BTW? Good guess!), or whatever other silly ponderings might come up, the idiotic responses that are flowing in make this too fun of a thread to kill. I'm a lurker on my own post! How funny.

My money is on ta2002u2 being the real thing and I'm guessing he would have let the hood go for dirt cheap too.

I agree with you. I think he was legit also. Just needs to know the way we buy and sell things here and ignore useless when needed.

I have to disagree.

What's the use of making up a fake location? He was obviously hoping/wishing that some poor soul would paypal him the money and just disappear. If he were to list a location and local pickup, then he wouldn't be able to sell his BS CF hood.

If you believe that he is for real, you should PM him and paypal him the money and HOPE to get the CF hood.

It would have answered the question. Scammers always (seem to) answer the question. That's how they part a fool with his money.

Peruse some of the profiles, then pick a location that's close enough for a pickup but not close enough for a drive-by check.

If he answered with an address in 90210, most people would have believed that.

Why should he reveal his location to anyone except interested buyers?

If he lists the location, I know where there's a CF hood (and probably a clip or two bursting with big notes) available for the price of a bump key, a burlap bag and a black handkerchief with two holes in it.
