OBX downpipes?
Just curious if anyone has experience with OBX downpipes? I have searched but can't find anything about those downpipes.

dont buy them or you'll be returning them with a 30% restocking fee they do not fit and poor clearance at the turbo flange and the stock clamps do not fit either..

I like the price too. I would try them out if I didn't have AR already.

That's not necessarily true. Please show the before after of your testing or save your comments. Let's keep this forum fact-based.
Back on topic, what confuses me is that it states 65mm which is 2.55" but later in text it says "3 inches". The latter part about three inches seems to be from racing depot not the manufacturer. I'd like to see someone's first hand experience with them. |

i did buy them and tried to install them yesterday on a hoist at the dealership i work work at.. had the stock ones off within less then 35min and pretty much was fighting the new pipes from every angle , i email the sellers and advised them about the issue and its pretty much impossible to make it work without a hammer by denting one or the other.. i am returning them..

i do have photos of them before i installed them you can tell by the angle of the turbo flange pipes is off and will cause clearance issues.. the rear turbo pipe hits a inverted torx bolt on the engine block for some bracket also. but as for quality i honestly would buy this product again if this issue is corrected for $207 shipped the welds and flanges are nice and solid the thickness is great but the rear downpipe is the only issue you can see the pipe angle (left) in picture compaired to other dp's . ill load the pics here shortly

This is it!!

I don't buy them cause if the fitment is off, you will have one hell of time to install it.
I have setup of Used AR for sale if any one interested.

These are ridiculous statements. Mr. 5 ran MS dps and had one of the fastest cars on the forum. MS perform and fit just as well as AR, but they don't offer cats.

Where as AR, MS, AA use top notch materials, welds and fitment is pretty much perfect I dont think its silly to order quality pipes once and put em in once b/c they fit. But to each their own.. |

I agree that it's up to the buyer, but to say ~"everything else besides AR is crap" is a bit too far. I too like quality, which is why we bought BMWs ![]() |

I went on ebay the other day and saw these DP and couldn't believe no one made a thread about them. Searched and couldn't find a thing. I was going to make a thread but someone beat me to it.
For $200 I am not expecting it to make the most hp, but anytime you remove cats, hp will go up. Sucks fitment is horrible. I was debating about pulling the trigger and buying them, not anymore. |
