Stuck on the side of the road - clutch issue

So I am currently sitting in my car waiting for the tow truck. Anyways I was driving and when I switched from 2nd I miss shifted on hit 5th normally not a big deal but this time my clutch didn't spring back up. So I pulled over, turned the car off messed with the pedal and it came back out. I but not I am pushing it in and about half way it becomes extremely difficult to push. I also can't start the car now. I can engage the car in any gear without pushing down on the clutch pedal. What do you think is the cause? Slave cylinder? Pressure plate? I can't see under the car at all to see any leaks from the cylinder since it's so dark and i pulled onto grass. Any input appreciated!

Well I took it to the shop and I was surprised there was still staff there at 10pm. Anyways he told me if it is indeed the pressure plate then I have to replace the clutch as well which I am okay with but then he also said I had to replace the fly wheel as well...now I am looking at a 3k repair bill?? Does that sound right?
