BSM E92 M-sport - One year later (Still loving this car)

Continuing from my old thread that I created a little over a year ago: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=836800
Surprisingly, everything on the to-do list in the old thread is done.

I no longer miss my G35's exhaust note. Growls, crackles, pops, BOV and spools with catless downpipes are way better.

1 week later:
19" Linea Corse Strasse
Bad replica perf. spoiler
Plastidipped stuff

LOL @ WHEEL GAP

2 weeks later:
H&R Sport + Koni Yellows
Roof spoiler
19" VMR VB3 Hyper Blacks
Window Tints
M3 side skirts

3-4 months later:
Arkym style CF lip
DD CF Quad Diffuser
Taillight LCI style tint
19" BBS LM-R Replicas
Debadge

3M Gloss black wrap replacing plastidip (grilles and reflectors)

JB4
Alpina Flash
Roc Euro DCI
Catless DP's
Performance Exhaust
Quad tips

CF vinyl wrapped interior

6-8 months later:
Black emblems
LCI taillights
Tinted fog lights
Good replica spoiler
(20" Modulare forged H1, 295/25/20's rubs a LOT )

9 months later (WINTER!):
17" winter setup with mega 30mm spacers in the rear and 25mm spacers in the front

12 months later:
Black chrome grilles
Seibon m3 hood (no offense to anyone who has this, but I hated it)
Sold the 20", back to LMR reps
Stud conversion
Red tuner lugs
Front and rear spacers
Side skirt splitters

13 months later:
Back to OEM hood
Switched from springs+shocks to coilovers

Back to OEM wheels w/ 20mm spacers
*Most depressing time, car looked too stock*

15 months later (now):
Went lower
Removed decals
Removed black emblems
Removed roof spoiler
Varrstoens + Stretched tires

Almost happy with stance, needs to go lower after I install m3 arms.

To do:
Paint CF m3 style hood that has been sitting in my garage for a few months
Make rear fins for better side profile
M3 sways
M3 arms (need more -camber)
Lower
BBKs
Wheels that I can't afford

Thanks

I WAS going to sell the car and then realized it was the worst time to buy a car since all these new BMWs are coming out. The used car market prices are probably going to drop like crazy in the next couple of months.

Smart thing to do is probably sell the car now, wait a year or two and then buy a GTR, M4 or RS5. But can't live without a car, so might as well finish my project and take a hit in the depreciation.

@ above, exactly what I thought the moment I put on that hood. I felt sick every time I looked at it.

Great timeline and a lot of great mods as well. Can't wait to see what's next including those rims, lol.

The center bump was way too squarey and large. The vents were also too squarey and large. Looks ridiculous in person and head on.

I had LED's mounted and housings painted on a set of headlights but then I changed my mind at the last second

I was planning to stick with the LMRs till the end but the offsets/widths wont allow for a slightly poke look. (Unless I go with ridiculously small tires and I don't want that)

The LM's look much better in person than in pictures, I never regretted my decision the moment I saw them mounted. Maybe because the lips are so phat.

Not sure about the BBK's yet, it has lower priority than the wheels that I actually want.

Which ones? LMR's were from a local member, they have been discontinued for some time now. Current ones are made by varrstoen.

The BBS LM-R's looked the classiest if you asked me even though they were reps ( are they really so? Damn they looked exactly like the real deal if nobody mentioned it! LOL !)

But simple clean and nice, nothing overboard! Always love the look of black on this car!

IMO the last two stages of your car have been the best. the style 225M's looked sick honestly especially with those red lugs that you had!
thanks for sharing the build with us. cant wait to see the rest of your mods!

Agree with you here, the 225M's aren't near as bad as being ' stock ' looking especially with spacers mounted on. I had them running on my car for a while but they were not near as round as new ( stock run flats denting the wheels on our roads earlier! )
