Hey guys, i searched for what i was looking for, but was unsuccessful. I posted a very similar thread on the my350z site when i had mine..im pretty sure its gonna be the same idea for the 335's. Ok, now what r my suspension goals? Nothing really besides just some street/highway fun sometimes and a nice stance. Obviously people r always inclined towards getting spring/shock combo since its cheaper...BUT...besides that...350Z drivers were talkin about how a shock/spring combo is much better than a cheap coilover setup (around $1000)..reason being supposedly is because usually these cheaper coilovers, since you could adjust height, the companies compromise the quality of the coilovers for adjustable height at a cheap price range...n' the shock/spring combo at a $1000 price range, besides the fact they're not height adjustable, the ride quality and handling is a lot more of an improvement....BUT....(sorry guys plz dont kill the noob) even though the shock/spring combo is better for the most part, a downside i heard since im looking to get really low springs like the H&R race springs, there will be no suspension travel left since im gonna be slammed....so what should i do? Cheap coilovers like h&r or d2 with proper suspension travel?! Or a better shock/spring combo like koni yellows + h&r race springs w barely any suspension travel but better quality shock? I want my 335 to handle n feel like its on rails like my oldl 350Z, idc if the ride is a bit harsh..send me some wise knowledge plz

There's no damper (damper, not 'shock' or 'shock absorber'; the name is incorrect since they don't absorb shocks) I know of for our cars that will have sufficient travel with H&R Race springs. A better quality damper will not help if it is has no room to move.

I'm inclined to suggest something like KW V1 if your primary goal is to get the car riding lower. Search this forum to see how low they go. There is the KW Street Comfort for more money, but I don't have experience with them.

If you really want to lower your car that much get coilovers. You are correct in that you'll lose too much suspension travel with H&R race springs. The ride will suck regardless of struts/shocks you choose.

OP its hard to read all that when its cluddered together. But from what i could read you should do KW V1. Dont pay more then 1250 shipped from any vendor if you buy new. And surely dont pay full retail. Mine just showed up in the mail, looking forward to getting rid of 4 inches of wheel gap up front.

+1, or you can spend a little bit extra and do the KW v2 if you really want to have adjustable dampening for a peace of mind. FWIW, I heard good things about Sonic Tuning coilovers if you're on a tight budget and want a nice lower stance.
