We'll ship at the end of the GB, on November 9th. We call everyone who has put a deposit down to confirm payment and shipping address, and then process the orders.

There's more piping and hardware for the later cars. It will fit with active CC cars.

Yes the kit provides silicone to connect with the factory charge piping, the silicone eliminates the restrictions in the factory system. If you have an N55 that kit includes an aluminum driver side lower charge pipe!

Bump for a great offer!

I was involved in a previous GB on this forum awhile ago and was impressed by the great and timely communications from Helix. It made the purchasing and shipping experience that much smoother.

iPhone pic of my new Helix is below. I won't apologize for the quality of the pic...it is what it is...

Can't decide which looks better, the badass Helix FMIC behind the grill or the lci MSport bumper and hood conversion kit that I got from SonicTuning...hmmm...or the dumb thumb in the upper left corner of this pic....

OBTW, I got this great license plate bracket from AutoZone for $9 bucks and hung my plate from the grill, so I didn't have to punch any holes in the bumper and that is why the plate hangs a little lower than normal... and the greyhound plate says "RUN for JOY" and not Registered Nurse for Joy...although I have heard stories about some randy nurses....but that's for another thread...LOL

Shipping through USPS is the cheapest at $230. USPS only provides Global Express Guaranteed Shipping for Melbourne (1-3 business days), but it's about half as much as FedEx other international shipping services.

There's no difference between the FMIC for the N54 or N55. The only difference is in the parts provided. The N54 set comes with a Helix intercooler, 4 clamps, one 90 degree silicone hose and one straight silicone hose. The N55 sets comes with all this plus one additional clamp and an aluminum j-pipe (charge pipe).

If the build date of your BMW is after April '09, you'll want to go with the N55 package, but, seeing that you already have a charge pipe, we may be able to alter your package to include just the extra clamp. If you want to do it that way, let us know.
