n53 or n55/n20 ignition coils on n52?

Noticed that the Direct injected n53 motor has different ignition coils.
Their shape looks to be the same, but n53 seems to have a bump near the bottom. If that bump is removed, it would fit n52.
  • n53/n42 uses a Bosch coil Part#: 12137594935
  • n55/n20 uses a Delphi coil Part#: 12137594596
  • n52 uses a Bosch ignition coil as n54, n63 part number 12137594937

Logic:
  • The Okada project coils are expensive and give a better spark: http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/home.htm
  • Some race teams ran Okada
  • n52 guys in asia reported some effect
  • the BMW parts are cheaper then Okada parts.

Does it make sense to try this mod??

I doubt that.

Don't think it's really worth the hassle.
