Is my car Base Stereo or HiFi? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I am not physically capable of checking my car due to the fact I am in a different country. But here are some things I pulled from my VIN. Tried searching the item numbers, no luck. Found some things that mention 'HiFi'. From what I recall though, it sounded far too awful to be anything other than base.

Production Date Sept 30 2009

S645A / RADIO-STEUERUNG US / BMW US Radio
S663A / RADIO BMW PROF / Radio BMW Professional

All MY2010 3-Series (except E93) had a Stereo system as standard equipment in the USA.

you can google bmw vin checker.

then it should say audio otption (992, 993a, etc)

then you can google that and figure out which exactly you have
