jb Map 8!?
I am very interested in Map 8 as alot of people are, I was curious as to what kind of output an n55 would push with map 8, wouldnt it just be the same hp as the 328 (without mods obv) considering the 328 is a 3.0 without turbo and i believe a very similar engine setup to the n54 without tt
also would map 8 be ok as a daily driver map short term and long term? please offer accurate answers thanks.. and i know there is info on map 8 out there im just looking for specific answers towards the n55 |

I'd say it will actually be less power than a 328, I'm sure the compression ratio is higher on the na motor, so all else being equal, you'll still have less power.

I bet it's about the same as a 328i. The N55 turbo is so small even with zero duty cycle (wastegate fully open) it still makes 2-3psi.
