Fuel Mixture - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I am currently running a JB3 on Map 3 with an ER charge pipe and BMS DCI as my only mods on my 2011 335is. I was curious as to what fuel mixture I could safely run without data logging for a small bump in hp for a day at the strip (not for the street)? Any help is appreciated, but please don't suggest any more mods as it is not happening... I enjoy having my driver mod and my warranty as they are more than enough. Thanks!

Whenever you make changes, its always best to datalog to ensure your car likes it.

I know, but I was just curious as I have simply run different tunes in my past cars for different fuel mixtures. This time around I'm just looking for an easy route, not going bananas with this car like I have the last two

what do you mean by fuel mixtures? AFR?

Upgrade to the Jb4 G5 with iso.. 150 bucks and gives you alot more better tuning then the JB3.

Then you can mix fuels safely and for more power.

Looking for a good mixture of either e85+93 or 93+_octane for higher total octane within safe levels for that map 3 on the JB3

Thanks for the info, any reccomendations on a safe mix for my mods and map preference?

E20 mix will clean up timing up to 13.5psi without having to resort to adjusting open loop fueling requirements. The OEM settings are enough to reliably run E25 (like the 335's in Brazil) on any tune.
