Pro active maintenance on 2009 323i
Car has just hit 65K and the service light has come up. Apart from that, nothing else looks like it needs any immediate replacing or attention.
I just got a second car, so I know the 323 will not get used much anymore and will most likely sit in the garage most of the time. Next service will not be for a while. As a pro active move, would it be a good idea to have the service guys replace a few parts anyway? I'm thinking filters, oil change etc. I think the last oil change was around 50K / last yr. Or would it just be a total waste of money? |

I would recommend at least one interrim oil and filter change in between the schedule servicing by bmw.
Personally, I do 5k oil change, and 10k oil and filter change. Just like jap cars. |
