What coding software to get?

I bought a set of programs from BMWCable about 2 years ago and had limited success with it, mostly INPA worked so I could see codes so I didn't worry about much more.
I recently scrubbed my lenovo Win7PC with Intel Celeron CPUB800@1.5 GHz

4 gB ram 64-Bit operating system

I don't think I have everything (or can find everything) to reload the same program.

Do you have any other recommendations to start fresh?

I want INPA and need to, at some time, figure how to use NCSExpert to tell the footwell module I do not have AHL lamps. It thinks so and I get the CCID295 error.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kurt

What cable do you have now?

I suggest to use K+DCAN and use NCSEXPERT for coding, I think it's the best option, it gives you a lot of options to code.

My car was built in Jan 2006. VIN; KX64987. I understand this is an older version of the control system.

Does that make a difference for either the Carly or conventional?

I have a blue cable and plug I got from BMW Cables in 2013. It simply shows "BMW Cables" on the label.

Thanks very much!
