I looked into this, there was a BMW dealer selling the kit on eBay for £1025 but I can't see them now. I've just done the 335 front conversion on mine instead, quick blast of silver they still look smart. All in including brand new BMW discs and pads came to about £550

I'm not sure tbh mate i've never experienced a 330 setup. I've gone from a 318d set up and I spent most of the weekend giving the mrs whiplash lol, much better grab than my standard brakes and well worth the money

I've always been disappointed with my 330D brakes as I was use to driving my brothers 335D. The 335D's brakes are far sharper and provide much better stopping power in my opinion.

I will be getting EBC Redstuff on my 330d:
http://www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/ When my front pads will be due for replacement. Good performance, decent price. I had EBC Redstuff in a previous car (Toyota Avensis) and they were a major upgrade over the stock ones. The prices are also very good and they offer 3 variants of disks as well. If would you go for calippers as well, I would consider as best: Brembo, Tarox or AP, but they are expensive and you cannot avoid declaring them as a mod to your insurer. |
