Seat back netting
Ashtray cover
Hood insulation
Windshield tint

A couple more I am forgetting.

However, early build 2009 models had all these + LCI additions and upgrades.

iDrive.... HUGE improvement.

I literally wanted to rip my iDrive out on my pre-lci. The nav disc would always stop working when I actually needed to use Nav. It was really slow and laggy.

When I got my LCI iDrive I was utterly surprised at the improvement over the old one. It was much smoother and it always worked, it had offered more features as well.

As to what looks better, that's all subjective. I say LCI E90 looks better, but pre-LCI E92 looks better.

What they removed was:
-under hood insulation
-smokers package (front ashtray with cover and cigarette lighter, rear ashtray)
-vented cup holder in the armrest
-storage net behind front seat backs
-cloth wrapped sun visors (now plastic/vinyl)
-clear outer lens for the map lights
-alarm pre-wiring
-keyhole on the trunklid
-green tint strip on top of windshield

There might be more I'm forgetting...

When the roof is fully open, the roof no longer closes and tilts with just one press of the tilt button.

Mirrors no longer fold up with Comfort Access "finger closure" at either front door.

The mirror fold with CA was disabled after 2006. Easily re-enabled with coding though.
