Whose 335i did I buy?!?! - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I know you have to be on here because upon further inspecting and receiving it I realized it has JB4 installed and a BMS dci!

It has 71,000 miles, and I bought it from an insurance auction in Atlanta, Georgia.

It was a running and driving at the time I bought it and have since then fixed it completely aside from installing the drivers side headlight. (Just waiting on shipping)
The pics below were taken at the auction at the time of purchase. I'll have updated pics of it when its completely fixed

I know! I had all the body work and paint finished within a week and half

I can tell it was babied, and maybe even a single owner E90 cause of the awesome condition she was in on the inside and out. And yea, unfortunately it is branded salvage but it doesnt bother me much cause I have no intentions on selling her anytime soon, shes all mine!

Whats the title due to? Subframe? simple airbag? ???

The title was most likely branded salvage bc of the lower drivers-side frame where the door should be attatched to, being a little dented up (I'm guessing the original owner went into a high curb). No airbags deployed. I fixed it on a frame machine and let me tell you it was too easy...
Im also guessing the original owner just wanted to upgrade cars and took the insurance money over fixing the car...

she's looks great, congrats!! i love the color combo of the interior, and btw a BMS dci and JB4 isn't the only thing that the last owner put in this 3er...look at your shifter

Hmm, I just figured it was part of the sport package? And yea, the brown leather is soo luxurious and sexy. I'm also planning on wrapping the trim in 3M carbon fiber vinyl, I've seen the way it looks with the color of my seats and cant get over how sweet it looks

thats definitely a short shifter

Look under the car/hood to see if you have Downpipes/CP/FMIC. You may get lucky

Awesome! That's the cool thing about buying cars from auctions, you never know what your gonna find/get. Hopefully in my case its all good news lol
Here's a pic of the engine bay (again this is from the auction pics)

I have the front bumper off so I know there's no FMIC

But I'm not sure if it has upgraded downpipes or not, the exhaust sounds and looks pretty stock?

Probably two thirds of the 335s are tuned, lol dont think youll find out whose car that is. But good luck fixing it up.

You guys think I would be able to receive updates from Burgertuning even though I'm not the original purchaser of the tune? I don't have any of the wiring or anything else that came with the JB4 I just know its installed...

Updates are free, all you need to buy is a usb cable to connect the jb4 to your laptop to update it.
Buy it off the burger site.
