Can anyone please tell me your software version on your car using the ID on the dash please?

Do you mean the vin? Not quite sure how that would help you with a software number.

hold down your trip meter reset button for 20 seconds, you will see the yellow ! come up then the screen to reset your oil stuff keep holding it. Afterward you will see a 01.__ and a german word. let go, then press it a few times and you will see software, tell me that number please.
