335is MHD e40 tune

Hey guys, I got a 2011 335is DCT with a VRSF intercooler, downpipes and chargepipe... I got the MHD e40 tune on right now added about 6 galons of e85 and the rest 91... I'm experiencing problems with the e40 tune... Everytime I start off in 3rd gear and I punch it (WOT), it downshifts me to second... I don't know why could it be the tune is not compatible with my car? Is the clutch slipping? Will this harm my clutch or engine? When I'm taking off in 4th gear it also downshifts me to 2nd and then goes to 3.. 4...5 etc... I will post logs once I get home as well..

Dude, you're hitting the kickdown switch. Reflash with the kickdown blocker activated in the options menu, which I believe is the screen before the actual flashing screen.

That seemed to have worked... I have another question now.. I don't want to start a new one if it's a easy fix. On my VRSF Chargepipe there is a hole (I believe where the BOV goes) where it looks like a bolt/nut goes in I have it open... does it have to be closed? What bolt/nut do I need? I messaged VRSF already just want to see if I get quicker reply here as it is late and I'm pretty sure they won't reply till the morning will attach a pic if possible.

That is a bung for meth injection, you are definitely leaking boost out of it if it is not plugged.

Plug that hole. The charge pipe should have came with a bolt already in it.

Those threads are pretty loose too. If you're not planning to run meth any time soon, I'd put some locktite on it. IIRC, there are two meth bungs on that CP, one on the top and one on the bottom.

Haha sorry guys, I'm new to this whole car thing and wanted answers quickly the charge pipe didn't come with any bolts/screws on it and the you tube videos I saw showing how to install a chargepipe didn't show/tell me to screw in some bolts in there so I wasn't sure... I also didn't get the bolts to plug those in when I opened up my VRSF box (so I didnt think it had to be plugged)... I had to go buy the bolts and screws. I never knew much about cars till I got a BMW 335is it's my first time working on a car. I manged to fix everything except for screwing in the bottom screw/bolt on the charge pipe... it's weird when I rev it.. I don't feel any air coming out perhaps there is a bolt on it already. I need to take out the chargepipe and double check...(maybe that's why I'm only hitting 17.5 psi) or maybe there's another boost leak elsewhere... pretty sure since I installed the inner-cooler as well (need to tighten up those clamps). Anyways thanks for the help guys... sorry for the beginner questions haha.

2013 335is  [0.00]
17.5 is what you should hit, it doesn't run a ton of boost on the latest E40 mapping, and that's a good thing. The power is made with leaner AFRs and more timing. The map is very potent if you have a good FMIC and downpipes / cone air filters.
