Yea, it sucks.

Lexus puts black in their trunk. The dirtyness doesnt show -- mainly because its seldomly used.

One reason why i dont want to do a custom trunk...

use some of this, its black. and maybe youll get that high end luxury you except from a bottom of the range bmw. my 750 has grey carpet in the trunk, they all do.

I don't want to do a custom trunk either, but black fabric looks a lot nicer!

if I'm paying $55k to be in entry level luxury then I'll hop over to toyota where I can get their tundra (most expensive toyota) fully loaded and be ballin' outta control.

My s class's trunk is black. Even when it is never used it still manages to get dirty. While my m3's trunk is opened and closed every day and I've only cleaned it once when I spilled some car sealant in it.
