Trustworthy garage recommendation in the North East

Hi all

My Alpina is due a service soon and just looking to see if anyone can reccomend a good garage in the Washington, Sunderland, or Gateshead area.

The usual garage that I take it to tried to charge me 400 to have all the brake pads changed last time I was there, ended up Doing a DIY job for 120.

Currently driving an Alpina-D3 MT, Sapphire black, Classic Alloys wrapped in PS2's, Full Alpina interior trim, Black Grilles, Blackline tail lights and zymol'ed once a month.

North east

Hi, I got my 320d serviced at 'prestige German cars' in South Shields. They were around 130 cheaper than the dealer.

+1 for Prestige German Cars, I had a 4 wheel alignment done by them, good friendly service with no problems and they seem to know their stuff.

There's also DM Motorworks http://www.dwmotorworks.co.uk/ who are situated on the A694 at Winlaton Mill. I've not used them but local reviews seem pretty good.

Dreamscience automotive, they are focus st/RS specialists but the staff have 4 BMW's between then including a fully restored e36 m3, they are a top notch garage and know their way around BMW's very well

If you can make it to Newcastle, AutoBavaria is a BMW specialist.

Daren wood very good, don't think I will use anyone else judging by the experience and workmanship. Just look at the metal sitting outside.

A nice CSL and x6 m50d in the other day - clearly know their stuff, go out of their way to discuss things and do/check extras, no bs advice.

2 hours from Geordie land tho.
