So I always keep my eye out on Craigslist for cars for sale. I was checking out the San Diego 335i for sale and I came across a stock 335 with a stainless Akrapovic slip on. This older gentlemen flips cars and didn't know what he had. The car was all stock except this. I called him up and offered him my stock mufflers and 800 and he bit. I currently have a Jb4, bms meth, Raceland Dp's, and a full cheap ebay catless set up with some big resonators. It sounds great, but I can't wait to pull the resonators and slip this bad boy on my set up. Any feedback with a catless setup with this exhaust is appreciated. Cheers!

Always loved the sound of mine. Sounds even better with my custom FFTEC midpipes (single turbo). Had them put in resonators, no drone and screams under WOT.

I pumped to throw it on. Should I order up some vibrant resonators for this? I had a muffler shop install some hideous ones for my current set up. I don't have any drone, but they probably added 20 lbs. I know this muffler is way better quality than the straight through canisters I have, but no secondary's equal some drone.

I'm surprised the guy that originally bought the Akrapovic didn't take it off and sell it separately before he sold his car.

Good find for you though. That exhaust sounds awesome!

Just out of curiosity what is the weight difference between the OEM E90 muffler and this unit?

Yes, there 111's. Ya it didn't make since to me being a slip off, maybe the guy sold his stock mufflers and didn't want to deal with it. I will get some sound clips up in two weeks or less.

I'd have to check on the weight, but it's considerable. This thing is very light.

Defintely throw on the vibrants!
It cleans up high end rasp and they weight like 3 pounds only.

I don't mind the high end rasp at all, I am more concerned about drone at lower rpm. Maybe just throw on some small ones?
