Try "the personal insurance". Theyre pretty cheap..

Have you tried contacting your parents' insurance company? You should be able to get a multi-vehicle discount (and a lines of business discount if they have their home and auto insured at one place). If your quote was from the same place, confirm that all the discounts are in place.

The car you drive isn't going to make much of a difference at this point. If anything the E92 is a pretty good car for insurance. Your age, location and driving history have the biggest impact. And as Zebra said, some insurance companies are just more expensive than others.

I'm not sure if i can help to much but this guy seems to be really good but he's in toronto. my whole family switched to him as well. most places were quoting me 350-500/month and this guy got me one for 280/month. also brought down my whole family by a lot too.

I'm 23 btw so this is by far the best rate i've ever seen yet.

his name is peter and he is much easier to get a hold of by email. peterf@fpinsurance.ca

$5000 a year isn't too bad. I paid over $9k a year when I was 18.

Oh well that's the price you have to pay for being a high risk driver and how young your age is. Might as well ask your parents if they can include the car under their insurance and you as a second driver or perhaps list the car under multiple insurance like house+car bundle policy. I don't know if liability coverage works also so try to ask an agent about this and if there's some coverage that you can avail at a very low premium. Good luck!

You gotta pay to play. If your parents are very "nice" to get you the 350z and demolished it (not gonna as why) and now they got you a 335 so why not keep begging them and don't stop whining to them, tell them you will go on hunger strike if they don't pay for it. You should take advantage of your situation there are a lot of spoiled kids around that if you don't get to drive your BMW your school friends will laugh at you or if they see you ridding the rocket .

Anyways try insurancehotline.com

Call a broker who deals with many insurers and just do some general calling to direct writing insurers like unifund, the personal, State Farm, intact and any others.

Your young, you're gonna pay.

My advice is to move outside of Toronto. When I was away for school, my insurance rate was very low vs GTA/Toronto
