Hi All,

My Mrs has a E92 330d and has dropped something down the vent under the windscreen. The item in question is say the size of a 10 pence.

Do we need to get it removed coz it might damage something - or should we not worry ?

My mate did something similar in a previous car of mine. Dropped a £1 coin down the dash air vent then tried to laugh it off by telling me he'd increased the value of my car by £1, I wasn't amused and was worried for ages that it would cause a problem but the good news was that it never did in the few years I owned that car.

I dropped two torque tips (about 1-2cm) a few weeks ago in the front vents right next to the front windcreen. I found them behind the passenger seat on the floor yesterday

Thanks Chaps - tried to get the blasted thing out but to no avail - will need to dismantle some bits which TBH I cant be arsed with - doesnt seem to be a problem (yet) and if it does create one then I will do the traditional throw money at it routine (just not in the vents :-)
