Thumbs up Chrome Active Autowerke Exhaust Painted Black

Dark gray car, black window trim, tinted windows, black rims....exhaust had to be black! Chrome would stick out too much/look tacky.

I will post pics of the exhaust on the car when I get around to cleaning it.

Not sure if the black tips would look good. Might just look like they are dirty chrome tips. Hopefully not though. Looking forward to pictures!

Definitely doesn't look like dirty chrome tips. It's solid black.

Yeah, and clean your garage and pick up that hose while you're at it!

Why oh why does everyone on here feel the need to tell people what's "wrong" with their car? Ever think maybe they don't give a shit about your opinion and that's what THEY want their car to look like? Just a thought.

Anyway....

OP, did your buddy use high-temp paint on the exhaust? If not, how's it holding up?

The rims in your profile picture are very tacky/ugly. But hey, that's just my opinion.

I'm not sure what type of paint he used, but it has been holding up fine. He paints industrial equipment, and he's quite knowledgeable when it comes to this field. I don't think I will have any issues.

That's cool. I was just curious as I'm considering doing something similar.
