Not to say there aren't examples of one over the other in each location, but it's interesting to see how leaders in each area create these geographic sub cultures. Shiv (NorCal) and Long Tran (SoCal)

P.S. you guys that went to FFTEC today, did you see Shiv working in a SGM E92, my sh*t is broke.

It's apples and oranges. With an extra 75-100hp no doubt the single will dominate rolling races but the low end grunt of the RBs are awfully fun around town. And they still offer enough HP to run 10s at the drag strip.

Oh I'll get one as soon as my employer ups the good 'ol Xmas bonus

I'm not so worried about the transfer case issue since I don't plan on 5,000 rpm launches and I'll be running similar torque levels as the single on 100% E85 and meth starting this afternoon (albeit at lower rpm levels)
