Vishnu OFT E40 map

Decided to keep my OFT, can anyone who has run the E40 off the shelf map on the OFT post up their review and/or a dyno of the map?

There should be a few on this forum
good reviews, too aggressive for some though

I don't recommend running the E40 OTS. Not unless you fix the fuel scalar first. From my experience, it's much too aggressive for E40 and you'll max your trims...

What do I need to do to the fuel scalar to run it? I'll be mixing it with 91 octane.

For starters this is Cobbs chart. I believe the e40 OTS is set at 1.20 Not sure if there is something else wrong but I used the chart for e30 use (just for stage one though. Haven't had a chance to log yet but when I set it at 1.20 fuel trims instantly maxed out. I have it at 1.11 for e30 and it "feels" great).

And they say you can't make power with the OFT. Thats damn good for an OTS map and Xdrive (also confirms it might be too aggressive for some cars).

12.1 on xdrive 6AT with no pre-loading of the converter is bad ass. Your 60' could be better but that's a damn good run for stock turbos. Also looks like you're shifting too high up in the RPM's. Manually shifting that beast @ 6600-6700 MAX is ideal.

I've never tried the E40 Map but I still don't have downpipes yet and the fuel scalar scares the shit out of me, so I'm not going to try. I'm on Stage 1 right now OTS with adaptations reset for the Alpina TCU flash it feels strong as f$@# with E30. I'd try the Stage 2 map on E40 and see how the car does. You might be pleasantly surprised.

3rd and 4th gear pull on the new E40 map. Here is a pic and a link to my log. What do you think. Boost seems low but is hitting targets.

I would run 10 gal of e85 and then top with 91. Up the scalar from 1.2 to 1.4 and then log. make sure you're trims aren't max'd. You can always drop from 1.4 if you find that 1.4 is too much. It's a lot better than going lean in mid run due to max'd out trims.

Doesn't look bad. Nice timing recovery. Thing must be a rocket. Try increasing the scalar a bit. Bring the trims down + or - 10. If you want my XDF for the 3D fuel scalar, shoot me an email and let me know what version (I8AOS or IJEOS). I don't have my web site up yet, but when I do I'll get some of this stuff published. 10 gal? Seems like a lot for the stock pump. All the more reason to get an upgraded one I guess

What's your take on the map? Are you running it with a perfect e40 mix?

Damn pressure drop at altitude. I'd be lucky if I could get anywhere near those boost numbers out here. Looks good to me. I still need to get around to pulling a log for Stage 1 today. Need to get emissions done this month so I can friggin get my dp's.

I like the e40 map allot but since my ethanol gas station is 10 miles away and over a $4.00 bridge I only use it sporadically. It pulls very hard and smooth. I use the stage 2 off the self map as my daily driver map. Gas mileage is not good but it sure is fun.

I ran 7 gallons of e85 and 9 gallons of Shell Vpower 93octane (10%ethenol)
It was about E43 I think.

I think making sure you keep up with proper service with these maps is critical. Prior to this run I had replaced all 6 plugs and 6 ignition coils. I also replaced my vanos solenoid.

Thanks for the insight. What will adjusting the fuel scaler/trims + or - 10 do? Sorry for the amateur question but I am an amateur. I have no idea how to do it. Would I load my modified E40 bin and then add the xdf to it? Then adjust the scaler and then save and reup the newly feul scaler adjusted modified E40 map to the openflash and re flash the map to the car? I have IJE0S and my email is promiseoffreedom@gmail.com. Thanks

Brian

Well, maybe 8 as a minimum... A booster is recommended... I personally wouldn't have released a map setup for 15.5 deg as an E40 map...

So I need to change the values on this table to a little lower value then 1.20?

Is this the E40 BETA MAP or did they release a final E40 MAP?

IDK how I missed this video. Nice run. I was wondering why that civic was so far ahead, apparently he Red Lighted and was on slicks?

You can def get out of the hole harder with a little brake and gas at the light too and cut into the 11's.

Thanks. The civic had a RSX engine swap, slicks, and was completely gutted. I did brake boost to 2500rpms on this run but I did not get a chance to build boost very long since the staging light went quick. I also had my heavy replicas and continental DWS all seasons on that night. I will be going back in the next couple weeks with my summer super sports and lighter BBS rgr's. We will see if 11's are possible.
