6466 335i weak drifting and wastegate pull

93 oct. no meth wastegate playing around



drove 3000 miles to montauk point, long island new york and back to re break in car and test solid motor and trans mounts..
heres some weak drifting with the 6at
but u can hear the spool and exhaust in the vid

I guess you gotta start somewhere when you learn how to "drift". How do you like the mounts though? Did make much of an nvh difference?

mounts are great, way more responsive now and not much nvh difference at all.

only time u notice them is for a few seconds at cold start

Good deal! I put them on my car during my ST install. Just have a few more maintenance items left to do and then I'll get to see how they are on a 6MT.

it runs right around 17-18psi on wastegate (with a hallman pro mbc opened all the way up)

if i take the mbc off and run vac from compressor to wastegate it runs 16.x psi

What you think that set up in the first video is putting down as far as power?

i made 530whp on about 2psi less boost a while back untuned


best dyno so far was 642whp no meth (in my sig)

i added meth and different boost controller and turned her up to 27psi but the auto didnt want to play nice so thats why im on wastegate until i swap 6mt in

I perosnally rode in this car to PBIR and back (50-60miles) and I have got to say its much more responsive compared to stock and not a harsh ride at all. Thanks for the ride Dan! Looking forward to doing some side by side rolls when your back!

The guy has near 800 crank hp, of course its more responsive..
