Last week-end, I painted my calipers on my E92 335i. I didn't dismantle anything. Just cleaned them with a brush, some all-purpose cleaner and brake cleaner.

Now, I have that intermittent ABS/TPMS/DTC/BRAKE (the pad wear sensor) lights going on. I drive a few miles and it goes away...then it comes back. It's intermittent. What the hell could it be ? I did not touched/dismantle anything.

I searched but didnt find anything.

Hopefully it's just the ABS sensor. Quick 30 minute fix with a $80 part. Mine had those lights on after installing sport suspension, but it was always on, not intermittent as you describe. GL
