Android S-Voice doesnt work but Apple Siri does?? WTF? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

How is this possible?

My s3 works brilliantly with the e90 pro stereo.

However S-Voice does not send the audio through the speakers...

Siri would automatically do that.

I have tried every setting. Many other users have the same problem on the android forums. No one has found a solution. Its obviously the software on the phone.

Anyone else have these issues?

(it apparently works on idrive...)

So what causes this? a2dp or anything?
Wondering if there is a simple app that can be had, but cant find anything.

well, i used some bt mono forcing apps, and sure enough S-voice now works through the car speakers.

so we just need to figure out how to force s-voice and gps only to send the audio in a different way.

seems simple. but it is not in the options.

the btmono apps are not too useful, as they make the call quality suck.

we want s-voice and nav only to be sent mono

any ideas?
