In the end, do whatever you want, it's your car. However, people will start to give you some pretty honest opinions on this. I personally would only put M badges on an M car. Maybe just debadge and keep it clean looking, that is my favorite.

lets not do another discussion on wether m badges look good or not lol. The m sport package puts about half a dozen M badges on non M cars.

anyways just looking for opinions regarding the larger vs the smaller lettering for the badges! thanks

Out of the two I'd go with the smaller one. But I still don't feel strongly about it.

x2

I'm of the belief that ///M badges only belong on ///M cars. Debadging is a great idea, but I'd leave it at that. I debadged last year and loved the look...made me regret not doing it sooner.

No. Not unless you tacked a couple of turbos onto your motor while you were at it.

No. Not unless you enabled overboost and got a new DME, dropped in a dual clutch transmission, are making 370 ft/lb torque, upgraded the cooling, and installed stiffer motor mounts while you were in there adding the turbos.

No. Not unless while you were busy rehauling the engine, enabling overboost, adding turbos, and replacing the transmission, you also sold the car and bought an F10 M5.

Hell yeah do it. I think it would look sick and not too many people are running a setup like that. Personally I would just debadge and slap the M5 decal in its entirety. Do it and post some pics, ride should look sick.

If you want to put something on and ok with separating the number "5" from the M5 badge, why don't you separate the letter "M" too so then you can put just the stripes on and that can be your badge

It is a 328i, no matter what you do to it. Body conversions still don't change what the car is underneath. Not an "M" car in any way, shape or form.

a majority of the posts above sound like the rantings of retards. I realize its a damn 328i my damn acc info says so beside every post -.-. I dont race the thing I just like the cosmetics of the car, so yes it is a cosmetic 335is conversion. If I was to race it I could have easily bought a 335 or an M.

everyone who gave me a nonsense bullshit response. thanks for the worthless waste of time. (thanks to the few who didnt)

Initial plan is to debadge. and if it looks bad empty to sub with a badge. More than likely it will look nice clean though.

But the point of this thread was not a discussion of wether M badges belong or not. it was about the size of the badge. which I had expressly stated above also

on the flip side, how do those of you with m sport packages deal with the M badges on your door sills, steering wheel and possibly wheels? covered up? removed?

im not saying I feel too strongly either way on this issue lol il just go with what looks right but it seems a bit silly for everyone to loose their heads over a badge
