Recent Track Days
I never posted my trip to the BMW Oktoberfest. I did an autocross and a track day at Mid Ohio. My first time there so I spent most of the day learning the track, it's a very technical track with a lot of curves to master.
Here is a session where I passed an M Coupe only to catch another that wouldn't give me a passing signal. The 335is did well. I also got a ride in a new M6. Fast, we hit near 150 on the back straight where I only managed 120 on a few laps!. I missed out getting a ride with Joey Hand in an E46 M3 GTR. He was very fast, close to qualifying laps times, and that was with a pit road start!! Here is that video. https://vimeo.com/51350406

Nice video, but your 335is needs some power mods. Get an FMIC, catless dp's, Intake and a Cobb or renntech tune.

Slow rollin

I know all about Mid Ohio. Destroyed a Honda CBR 600rr there and my collarbone and some ribs. F U turn 7! One minute I'm rolling down the back straight at ridic speed, next minute I'm waking up in the ambulance.
Good times.

Looking good!
Try not to move your hands around on the wheel on turns where you don't need to cross over - I noticed you moving your left hand in particular up to the top of the wheel (making your hands closer together) when you didn't need to because you only turned the wheel ~90 degrees. The less you move your hands around the more consistency you'll have with your steering inputs. |
