Oem Aero Lip question

Guys I am buying an Oem aero front lip from someone and it is going to be a pick up. My question is how do I know if it is OEM and not the Replica? Should i look for a part number or what?

Yea I figure because you're a noob nobody wants to help lol but try searching how you can tell I'm sure there are a few threads here and there doesn't necessarily have to be e90post.

From what I searched OEM things usually have some markings on them and reps tend to have none. Look around more

and some replicas like this one wrap all the way around the front bumper. The OEM doesn't.

While it is true that some relica's wrap around the front fender as in above pics - some do not.

Best way to tell is to look inside the spoiler, bottom surface, center - there will be (2) raised/molded in areas:

(1) Will have the OEM Part Number Specific to your car + the word 'Germany' + the BMW Roundel Logo + some other crap + the line '>PUR GF17<'

(1) To the right of above will be a matrix with date code

So either look for this personally, or have seller take a pic of this are for proof prior to buying.

I'd take a pic, but spoiler is installed

I didn't say all of them, just pointing out an obvious visual difference in "some reps"

But good info there

The ones with the wrap-around are the $65 ebay ones, i believe.
